People Say the Nicest Things...

Duvall O’Steen has been working steadily since this New Millennium began. Not surprisingly, people have had nice things to say about her work…

She has traveled to Paris, North Carolina and even New York's Lower East Side to perform in a wide variety of roles, ranging from the wild and zaney Thesis in the new script By Way of Venus to Romeo in an all-female cast of the classic Romeo & Juliet. Off-Off Broadway Review hailed Duvall’s "delectably rambunctious" Romeo, and Show Business Weekly recalled the famous death scene as "perfection."

The French were delighted by the dramatic and evocative Bad Evidence and Mad for NewYorktown, and the Appalachian Summer Festival offered her the chance to play famed leading lady Sarah Bernhardt.

Back in NYC, the New York Town & Village dubbed her "bubbling with comic talent" in an "honest" portrayal of Marge in Funky Fifties.

The New York Renaissance Fair (see last photo, left) bestowed upon Duvall the coveted PERFORMER OF THE DAY "Cup" award, out of a cast of 80 performers, on opening day of the Fair, no less!
